On September 26th, 2009, the City of Elliot Lake, volunteers, Let Them Be Kids and Kool-Aid came together to build 2 new play structures and an outdoor fitness park in Elliot Lake. The day was filled with laughter, tears, joy, and rememberance as the 3 parks were dedicated in memory of 3 local heros: Private David Byers, Coperal Glen Arnold and Former Mayor Roger Taylor. The families were in attendance and spoke at each site. The day ended with a community bbq. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us celebrate this wonderful day!
